    Summer Jobs Position: Brand Ambassador & Junior Social Media Creator

    Job Summary

    Silversmith Brewing Company is seeking an enthusiastic and engaging individual to be the lead at our Local Markets and Events, as well as take on our Social Media Platforms. This role will involve attending local markets, events, and community gatherings to represent our brand, connect with customers, and increase our visibility. Additionally, this role will manage our social media presence to drive engagement, share event highlights, and maintain our brand voice across digital platforms. The ideal candidate will be personable, detail-oriented, have a love of craft beer, thrive when working independently and passionate about building community relationships.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Local Market and Event Representation:
      • Serve as the primary representative for our brand at local markets, pop-up events, and community gatherings.
      • Engage with customers, answer questions about our brands, and provide a welcoming and informative experience.
      • Set up and maintain a visually appealing display that aligns with brand standards.
      • Be responsible for maintaining inventory controls.
      • Collect payment for services and merchandise.
      • Gather customer feedback and insights to inform future market and event strategies.
    2. Community Engagement:
      • Build and nurture relationships with local vendors, organizers, and community partners to strengthen our presence in the area.
      • Attend networking events and relevant community meetings to identify potential collaboration opportunities.
      • Act as an ambassador for our brand values, mission, and vision in all community interactions.
    3. Social Media Management:
      • Create and post engaging content to showcase our brand at events, highlight product offerings, and celebrate customer interactions.
      • Respond to social media inquiries, comments, and messages to maintain active and positive engagement.
      • Track and report on social media metrics related to local events and community engagement.
    4. Event Reporting and Feedback:
      • Document and report on event participation, including customer interactions, sales, and overall success.
      • Provide feedback on event turnout, customer preferences, and opportunities for future improvement.

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience in customer-facing roles, such as retail, events, or community engagement.
    • Strong communication skills with an outgoing and approachable personality.
    • Experience with social media management and content creation.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings and holidays, to attend events.
    • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
